Laura Cole

Inspired by a true love of food and art, Laura views her career in food styling as a combination of both, ultimately creating the perfect profession. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, Laura’s path in styling came years later following an early career as a Designer and Art Director in corporate advertising.

After setting her sights on styling, Laura joined a large studio where she learned how to style everything from clothes and tabletops to food and room sets. As her freelance portfolio began to grow, she also taught Food Styling at the Culinary Arts School at the Art Institute of Atlanta.

Laura approaches food styling like creating a piece of art, applying the basic principles of design while adding her own unique perspective, and continuously learning tips and tricks on each new job.  While she met Darcie 25 years ago, she joined The Spin Style in 2019 and has thrived from the teamwork-centric environment; being part of something where everyone brings their own talents to create one beautiful result.
