Chanel Gibbons
Wardrobe Stylist

Los Angeles native Chanel is a wardrobe stylist known for her colorful, maximalist approach and ability to mix unexpected colors, patterns, and references. Specializing in youth culture, she creates commercially relevant work that pushes creative boundaries while remaining accessible. Her style blends feminine and masculine influences, often drawing inspiration from film, art, music, and distinct time periods to build memorable characters and visual worlds.
Chanel found her way into styling by chance after leaving college and interning at a fashion PR showroom. An opportunity to style a series of music videos for Atlantic Records introduced her to the industry, and her career quickly grew from there. Without formal training, she learned by working alongside established stylists, including Marni Senofonte and Laury Smith. These experiences taught her how to work at the highest level while developing creative solutions at a moment’s notice.
Her early career included serving as fashion editor for Kode Magazine, where she styled talent including The 1975, Kelly Osbourne, Dove Cameron, Fifth Harmony, and Joe Jonas. Her commercial and entertainment credits now include the LA28 Olympics campaign, the Motorola Razr global campaign, Stella McCartney Intimates, and Lana Del Rey’s “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” music video. She also assisted on Beyoncé’s Lemonade Tour.
A hands-on creative, Chanel has been sewing since she was 14 and can weave fabric and create plant-based dyes. She thrives on the fast pace of production, especially the preparation and problem-solving that happen behind the scenes. When she is not working or traveling, she is rarely far from her small pit bull, the love of her life and frequent companion.
